I just love Melinda Leigh's books..

I liked Louisa and Conor in the last book and I still liked them in this one. This was very interesting inasmuch as it was about a serial killer killing people, and in his mind, sending them to Valhalla, where he also wanted to go, with a Valkyrie, of course. And the way the killer talked to Ward, Louisa’s dad, you knew he really believed he was going there AFTER he killed enough people. And he was going with Louisa, once his mind convinced him she was a mythic

    4.5*

I’ve recently rediscovered Melinda Leigh’s work and am now a big fan, especially of her Midnight series: the Sullivans are such a great family! MIDNIGHT OBSESSION is the fourth installment in the series and, unlike any of Ms. Leigh’s previous work, is a direct sequel to MIDNIGHT BETRAYAL (though MIDNIGHT OBSESSION can technically be read as a standalone, the majority of the relationship buildup and development between the hero and heroine happens in the previous book). After delivering a gri

I wasn't too sure whether this could be read as a stand alone novel or whether it would be best to read the previous books in the series. I think I should have read the other books first! Anyway, it was good and enjoyable despite a slow start and the pace soon picked up. It is the first time that i have read any novels by this author and i do hope to read more. Especially the earlier books in this series.

My thanks to Netgalley and the Publishers and this is my honest review.
