I love starting a new series...getting introduced to the new characters and then reading the updates on them throughout each new book from the series! Can't wait until the next book, maybe the new couple will have a bundle of joy of their own by then😉

    Spoiler Alert!!!....

Having said that, this couple were truly meant for each other ...the growing love and admiration he had toward her, gave him the patience he needed to woo her and help calmly understand and allow him to claim her. Loved her feist

    Another winner.

Celia Kyle has a habit of writing winning stories and this is no exception. I must say that the beginning threw me off a bit as it reminded me of another story that I once read but as I read further I realised that it was different.

Lucy has had a lot of drama and tragedy in her life culminating in her losing her job, and any chance of getting a new one, when she is falsely accused of imbezzlement! Feeling battered she returns to her childhood hometown. The house that she grew up

    Passion, Fun and Action!

Mason and Lucy's story...Returning to her home town after being away for ten years is difficult for Lucy. Jobless, living with her grandmother, and facing sad memories of the death of her parents, Lucy wanders through town visiting former hangouts. She happens upon a small child in danger and rescues him. Charlie is so upset that he tries to run from Lucy and in the process, he accidentally bites her. Lucy doesn't know that Charlie is a werewolf and that his bite is going

I really liked this story. It packed a lot ... heroine's history, hero's pending doom, sweet little pups and kittens, pack politics... and of course hot, sexy love....

But it was instant love.... and felt rushed....but over all a really sweet love story that anyone could enjoy.

First let me say I've read Msg. Maddix and she enthralls me every time, I've also read Ms. Kyle and she makes me feel all the humor and romance. Together I think they are a powerhouse. Marcus the Blackwood alpha is in some serious trouble as he is losing control of his wolf which means as an unmated wolf he is going feral and only finding his mate will soothe that inner beast of his. Lucy is an embittered young woman she has too much loss in her life and not enough happiness and peace. Going bac ...more

I liked the start to this new series by Ms. Kyle and Ms. Maddix. It hits all the usual trope highlights (possessive alpha, instalove, a smattering of danger) and kicks it up a notch. Things aren’t quite so insta, which I appreciated even if there’s an immediate connection established. Sex is the payoff, not just random beats to fill the story and I really liked seeing a heroine who wasn’t always the damsel in distress. It could have done with a little more time developing their relation

Mason is the alpha of the Ashtown pack but maybe not for long. It has taken so long for him to find his mate that his wolf is trying to take over. Mason is struggling to control his wolf's desire for blood and fighting. Then like a miracle his mate appears but she is in trouble. She was bit by a child in his pack and is trying to change to wolf. The problem is that bitten humans usually only successfully changed if bitten with a mating bite. His mate is dying before his eyes.
